Brett Restemayer – Chair
Brett is the owner of Restemayer Financial Services, an Insurance and Investment planning company that has been in operation for two and a half years. Prior to that, Brett worked in the financial services industry and as an industrial sales representative for a chemical company.

Brett is a past board member of Advocis, the financial advisors association of Canada and is currently involved as a volunteer with Big Brothers, spending time on a weekly basis with his little brother Thomas.

Brett is also a newly wed. Brett currently does not have any children, but has two dogs, Bear and Cache, that manage to keep things busy around home.

Paul Pratt -  Vice Chair
Paul Pratt has been in the Banking business for 30 years, with extensive experience in Commercial Lending. He has held numerous management positions and he is presently the Manager of Commercial Banking with Scotiabank. Paul has lived and worked in Barrie since 1996. He is married with two children. In addition to his volunteer work with New Path Foundation, Paul also sits on the Board of Directors of New Path Youth and Family Services and is an active member of the Barrie Rotary Club.

Greg Pope -  Interim Treasurer
Greg is currently a Branch Manager for RBC in Barrie.  He recently joined the New Path Youth and Family Services Board and the New Path Foundation Board.  He comes to the Board with strong leadership and management skills from his experiences working with RBC and IBM over the last 20 years.  He joined both Boards as he has an interest in providing strong support and advocacy for Children’s Mental Health as he has children who have been impacted by different mental health issues.  He hopes to bring the unique perspective of a parent dealing with Children’s Mental Health to the Board.   He has been involved in many volunteer initiatives over the years and looks forward to being a significant contributor the both New Path Board’s.

Lori Aylwin – Director
Lori is a family law lawyer practicing in Barrie as an Associate Lawyer at HGR Graham Partners LLP. Lori has been a respected member on the Personal Rights Panel at the Office of the Children’s Lawyer (OCL) since 2003, representing both children and minor parents in custody and access matters, child protection proceedings, openness applications and adoptions.
Lori is an active and engaged member of the Barrie community. She has been involved with Girl Guides of Canada as a leader, she has lead parent groups dealing with school board issues and she volunteered with the Out of the Cold Program for many years. Currently, Lori is a member of the Lawyer’s Feed the Hungry Committee for Barrie and she is on the Board of Directors for the New Path Foundation which manages philanthropic investment and mobilizes community support to meet the mental health needs of children, youth and families in Simcoe County.

Lori is actively involved in the Simcoe County Family Law Lawyers Association and she is on the Domestic Violence, Child Protection, Family Law and Mediation Advice Panels for Legal Aid Ontario.

Bill Macdonald – Director
Bill is a Real Estate Sales Representative with Exit First North Realty in Barrie serving clients throughout Simcoe County. He is also president and owner of P G Bell Porcelain Inc. This company provides steel porcelain panels for architectural projects and steel porcelain

signs to clients, both government and private, throughout North America. During his long business career and before coming to Barrie in 2010. Bill was president of a number of  companies in Canada and the United States. During those years he served as a director on many corporate, industry and government boards. Bill strongly believes in giving back to the community and especially helping those in need. In addition to being a director on the New Path Foundation , he is also a member of the Rotary Club of Barrie.

Teresa Snelgrove – Director
Teresa Snelgrove is currently President of ProFitHR, an early stage company that sells a suite of screening tools for assessing candidates for professions and professional schools.  She also sits on the Board of ProFitHR.

Teresa previously was a Managing Director for Boyden International in their Toronto office. Prior to joining Boyden, Teresa spent 12 years as a Partner with Snelgrove Associates  where the focus of the practice was management recruiting within the venture capital community and their portfolio companies, primarily in the technology, healthcare, life science and biotechnology sectors. Teresa’s work has been closely associated with entrepreneurial endeavours beginning with the co-founding of Timothy’s Coffees of the World in 1975 a specialty coffee chain now owned by the US firm Green Mountain Coffee, Chapters Bookstore Café and General Wellbeing a small chain of wellness stores in hospitals.

Before co-founding Snelgrove Associates, Teresa spent 10 years teaching at various Ontario Universities including the University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario.

Teresa received a B.A. from McGill University, a M.A. and a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.  In 2000, she also completed a Masters in Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto.
